http://bible.com/59/ACT18.25.ESV He had been instructed in the way of the Lord. And being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things concerning Jesus, though he knew only the baptism of John. He began to speak boldly in the synagogue, but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.
“There are different kinds of fire; there is false fire. No one knows this better than we do, but we are not such fools as to refuse good bank notes because there are false ones in circulation; and although we see here and there manifestations of what appears to us to be nothing more than mere earthly fire, we none the less prize and value, and seek for the genuine fire which comes from the altar of the Lord.”

“Oh…, that Thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at Thy presence” (Isaiah 64:1)
It began with a blind woman’s vision of revival coming, of her church filled to overflowing with young people, a preacher she did not recognise in the pulpit and a minister obedient to God. On the basis of the vision the Minister and Elders arranged for two whole nights of prayer every week for several months prior to revival breaking out. Revival began one night in a meeting – a young man quoted part of Psalm 24 “Who shall ascend the hill of God? Who shall stand in His holy place? He that has clean hands and a pure heart…..” he went on to say this is “humbug” if we are not right with God and then began to pray “God, are my hands clean? Is my heart pure?”, then fell prostrate on the floor into a trance, quickly followed by three of the Elders. Then God stepped down and shook the island, He was everywhere! The following morning the local minister wrote “You met God on meadow and moo land. You met Him in the homes of the people. God seem to be everywhere”. Revival broke out in the entire community, crowds of 700 gathered outside churches at 11pm, 300 gathered at the Police Station at 4am because the Policeman was a believer, other churches overflowing with hundreds more gathered outside, all crying out to God. God manifested Himself, hundreds on the island were converted, buildings shook, people had visions, went into trances, fell to their knees overcome with God. Almost all that came to know God in that mighty revival stayed with God their whole lives.
It has been said that there were three outstanding features of this move of God:
The ‘awareness’ of God where men out working on the farms would be found prostrate on the grass, overcome by God. Many were led to God by this “supernatural illumination” before going to any revival meeting;
A profound conviction of sin which on occasion was so profound preaching had to be halted due to the anxiety;
“Physical manifestations and prostrations” as had previously been seen in the Welsh revival of 1859.

It is important for us to realise that when we declare God’s Kingdom coming, we are releasing Heaven to earth with our words. In fact, the Bible tells us that we have the power of life and death in our tongues (Proverbs 18:21, James 2). The reason Jesus warned us that we would be judged according to the words we speak is that our words make a difference in people’s lives and circumstances – our words can either curse or release the Kingdom to bring blessing.
Let’s declare today………
I am who the Word says that I am. I have a sound mind. I have great favour with God and man. People love me. I am a happy person. I love life and enjoy every day. I am healed. I have abundant provision. I am blessed and protected. I increasingly know who and what I am in Christ. I make a tremendous difference for Christ wherever I go. My joy increasingly break off spirits of discouragement and heaviness all around me.
With abundant blessings.
